Turmeric – Powerhouse of Nature

Turmeric is a spice that has many known health benefits like it’s healing, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant properties, known to prevent cancer, pain reliever, immunity booster, skin tone & repair. It’s been used for ages for cooking in every kitchen in India.

  • Great for curries and dry preparations
  • Turmeric latte boosts immunity and prevents cold and cough. Have a cup of it daily. Substitute milk with water in case of milk allergies.
  • Good for joints pain and pain due to cuts, wounds, falls, etc. Have a cup of turmeric latte to reduce pain.
  • Great for rejuvenating face packs. Mix ½ tsp turmeric powder with ¼ cup milk, 1 tsp honey, and 1 tsp gram flour(optional). Apply for 15 minutes and rinse with water. Apply this pack a couple of times a week.
  • Used for holy ceremonies and religious rituals in India
